Bettisfield Boats is based in the small village of Bettisfield in Shropshire, situated on the popular and picturesque Llangollen canal.
We are a small family run business with over twenty five years of boating experience which means that we can offer you an individually tailored canal boat holiday to suit your needs.
We openly support the Considerate Boater principals and the Shropshire Union Canal Society.

Nick and Emma take the tiller
Nick Markl and Emma Watson are delighted to announce that they will be taking
over the helm of Bettisfield Boats from Ian and Michael's steady hands who are
now taking well a deserved retirement.
Emma and Nick have previously worked for over 15 years in the leisure industry so
really do understand just how important your holiday is. We both look forward to
welcoming you aboard Heron or Kingfisher soon.
New Boat for 2012
After our first successful year on the Llangollen we have treated ourselves to a
new boat!! Swan is a 36ft 2010 Cruiser stern canal boat with an option of
sleeping arrangements. She has two singles at the front and a make up double at
the back with both areas being able to be closed off. Click here for details

New for 2012
Heron and Kingfisher have had their paintwork re done. Heron has had a new kitchen fitted and they are ready for the new season. We now also have bicycles available to hire for £30 per bicycle per week.
